At Lancaster, we offer CBT, neuropsychology, cognitive analytic therapy and systemic practice. Within the systemic practice teaching there are also specialist teaching sessions on narrative therapy. Teaching on other models is also part of the curriculum but extra sessions are timetabled for these approaches. See http://wp.lancs.ac.uk/dclinpsy/our-plus-1-approach/ for more details.

Placement locations

Placements are allocated across the whole of the northwest of England and may be located in Lancashire, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside or Cumbria. Placements are allocated based on learning needs with the geographic location of trainees considered. See here for more details of the placement structure throughout training.
