If you've submitted an Application before please Login with the same email address and password as last time. You can then copy documents into your new Application.

If a document link shows as 403 Forbidden, the document may have been loaded by Clearing House staff.

Instead of viewing document links, download your Application pdf from the Overview or Review screens to see documents as the courses see them.

Check what your courses need

Once you have chosen your courses, they tell you what documents they need, on the Documents screen of your Application.

If you change your course choices you need to check the Documents screen of your Application again.

It is your responsibility to:

  • provide the appropriate documents
  • upload them in the appropriate section
  • label them appropriately e.g. Document Type
  • make sure they are readable (see Check How Your Documents Look below)

Each course can only access the documents that it has requested, based on the Document Type.

The Clearing House do not check these documents as the requirements vary from person to person.

"If completed" and "Confirms GBC"

A document requested "if completed" does not mean that completing the qualification is a requirement for everyone: it only means that if you have already completed that qualification you need to provide a document for it.

If you've said in the Basics section of your Application that GBC is stated on your transcript, when you upload a Document for Specific Course Centres you will be asked if it Confirms GBC.

If you are using a BPS email or University letter to confirm GBC this is covered in the Documents for All Course Centres section, so all Documents for Specific Course Centres default to "no" for Confirms GBC.

What is a transcript?

Some courses ask for a transcript for your university qualifications.

UK universities give this document different names, e.g.

  • Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR), or
  • Diploma Supplement, or
  • Academic Transcript, etc.

All transcripts should include the following:

  • cover all the years of your course
  • list the modules you took and the marks you got
  • confirm you completed the qualification, with an overall result e.g. 2:1, pass with merit, percentage mark, etc
  • give the qualification title e.g. BSc in Psychology with Sociology
  • identify who took the course e.g. your name, date of birth, etc
  • identify the university where you studied e.g. university name and logo, authorising stamp and signature, etc

All transcripts should be official and final:

  • official - a formal document issued by your university (in other words it should not be e.g. a screenshot you create from a list of marks in your student account)
  • final - the document issued after all your results have been verified (not a document issued part-way through your study, unless your chosen courses specifically request this)

If your university cannot provide a transcript you need a letter from them confirming this. This usually comes from Central Student Records at your university.

Please contact your university as soon as possible to give them time to check their records.

Documents in other languages

You may need to provide a document in a language other than English e.g. a certificate or an academic transcript for an international qualification.

Please provide the document in the original language and an official translation of that document into English.
