Documents

See what the courses see

See your documents the way the courses will see them:

  • download your Application pdf from the Overview or Review screens

Each course can only access the documents that it has requested, based on the Document Type.

If a document is missing, mis-loaded, mis-labelled, or unreadable in the Download Application pdf, you risk your Application being excluded by the course that needs that document.

Courses do not use links on the Documents screen of your Application.

Provide good quality documents

Things to avoid are:

  • Photos taken in poor light or at odd angles
  • Screenshots of e.g. emails with extremely small or extremely large text

Missing, blacked-out or blurred documents

When you download the Application pdf, if any documents are missing, blacked-out or blurred, this may be due to:

  • security features in the document e.g. a password etc, or
  • style features in the document e.g. watermarks etc, or
  • the file name has unusual characters e.g. & or ' or % etc, or
  • too many pages in the document, or
  • oversized pages e.g. 200% of A4 size, etc.

Create a new version

You can usually solve the problem by creating and uploading a new version of the document:

  • check there is no security in the document e.g. not protected or restricted in any way, and
  • put the file through Print to PDF to simplify any style features, and
  • use a different file name, and
  • do not use any unusual characters in the file name, and
  • if the document is more than 10 pages long you may need to upload it as multiple files, and
  • when you've finished remember to delete the unreadable files.

If this does not resolve the issue you may need to upload readable images of individual pages.
