After you apply

All offers of a place on a course are dependent on criminal record and other checks required for working with children and vulnerable adults.

There may be further requirements such as completing academic qualifications, providing satisfactory references, etc.

For the conditions of an offer, please see the information given by the course when they made you the offer.

Offers deadline

You must respond by 2.00pm on 11 June 2027

if you are offered a place on or before 4 June 2027.

Please login and choose Accept or Decline.

If you are offered a place after 4 June 2027 you have 7 days to respond.

Accepting offers

You can see the status of your Application when you login.

You will usually hear from the courses directly first, as your Application is only updated after we have checked interview outcomes with them.

If you have been offered a place your Application changes to "Place Offered" and you can Accept or Decline.

Some courses also need you to contact them direct e.g. to email them, to return signed paperwork, etc. Please check their requirements in the information they send you when they make an offer.

Accepting an offer cancels all other applications

Please think carefully before accepting an offer of a place.

  • You cannot accept more than one offer, regardless of the conditions of any offer.
  • All acceptances are final: once you accept an offer you are committed to that course and cannot go elsewhere.
  • If you try to accept more than one offer, all offers may be withdrawn.
  • If you do not respond by the deadline, all offers may be withdrawn.

If you accept an offer of a place from one course any ongoing applications with other courses will be cancelled:

  • your offers will be withdrawn
  • you will be removed from reserve lists
  • your interviews will be cancelled

We email you to confirm your acceptance of a place and the cancellation of your other applications. Your email software may treat our emails as junk or spam, so please check your Junk/Spam Email folder(s) regularly.

How do reserve lists move?

Decline any offers you do not want

You are not required to accept any offer of a place before 11 June 2027.

But if you want to decline an offer, please do this as soon as possible.

The course can then offer the place to someone on their reserve list, and that course may be their first choice.

Reserve lists for offers

If your Application is "Reserve for Offer" you are on a reserve list for that course. Courses use reserve lists to fill places when an offer is declined.

If a place becomes available

If a place becomes available for you, the course will contact you by email or by phone and give you details. Your email software may treat emails from the courses as junk or spam, so please check your Junk/Spam Email folder(s) regularly.

The course will also update your Application from "Reserve for Offer" to "Place Offered".

Reserve list at your first choice course

If you are on the reserve list of your first choice course but have 1 offer from another course, please do not accept an offer until the deadline.

Courses do use their reserve lists during the week 7-11 June.

But please only hold 1 offer while you wait for your first choice course.

If you are fortunate enough to be offered places at 2 or 3 other courses, please decline the extra offer(s). This allows reserve lists to move at those courses.

Withdrawing from the reserve list

If you wish to withdraw from a reserve list:

  • login to your Application
  • choose Withdraw for the appropriate course(s)
  • click Confirm Action

Confirming will email the course(s) concerned.
