Funding
In 2024, we anticipate being able to offer 26 places, although this is yet to be confirmed.
Trainees are full-time employees of Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. All trainees commence training on the first spine point of Band 6 of the Agenda for Change pay scales.
Some travel expenses are paid but not to attend the University, and University tuition fees are paid directly by HEE.
As fees are currently paid by NHS Health Education East Midlands, it is a requirement of our Commissioners that applicants have "Home fees status". To be classed as a Home student, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a UK National (meeting residency requirements), or
- Have Settled status*, or
- Have Pre-settled status* (meeting residency requirements) or,
- Have indefinite leave to remain or enter
* for applicants holding EU Settled and Pre-Settled status we will require a "Share code" so that we can verify your status. Please only send this if requested to do so.
Both the University and Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust will make appropriate checks on qualifications, employment history, eligibility to work in the UK and funding status at such time as offers to train are made.
