When do courses start?

All courses:

• have only one intake each year
• start between early September and early October: the exact date varies from course to course

Completing spring/summer 2027

Will you complete your GBC-accredited psychology degree or your conversion course in spring/summer 2027?

You will not have Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) when applications are released to courses by the end of January 2027.

A few courses may consider people who do not have GBC when they apply, but most do not.

• Please see the Courses section for the requirements of individual courses

If the courses you are interested in consider applications from people who do not have GBC yet, you must have GBC before the courses start. In practice, you must complete your qualification and get your results by the end of August 2027.

If you decide to apply you will not be able to upload a GBC document as you will not have GBC. Either you will not be asked for a GBC document, or you may need to tick the relevant "Provide later" box in the Documents screen of your Application.

Completing autumn 2026

Will you complete your GBC-accredited psychology degree or your conversion course in autumn 2026 and get your results by the end of January 2027?

Submitting your application:

• in the Basics section of your Application say that you have completed the qualification and say which GBC document you will provide
• in the Documents screen of your Application tick the "Provide later" box for the GBC document
• submit your Application by the closing date: 1:00pm (UK time) on 18 November 2026

When you get your results in December 2026/January 2027:

• email us a document confirming your status for GBC: please see the Contact Us page for our email address
• login to your Application to check the specific documents required by the courses you have chosen

Your Application will be released to the courses by the end of January 2027.
